Working in academia
Container page of resources related to working in academia
Working in academia can be challenging, especially as an early career academic. However, there are lots of resources on this website that can help you to navigate your academic job. Here is a list of the most important ones.
Books on crafting your career in academia
This series (see Book series: Crafting your career in academia) is a collection of books dealing with various aspects of crafting your career in academia. It is based on my popular website Harzing.com and contains edited and curated collections of my white papers, blogposts, and presentations, as well as newly written texts.
Books are reasonably priced to make them accessible for individual academics, as well as universities who would like to bulk-buy books for their staff members. However, for those for whom this price is still a barrier, similar information can always be accessed for free from my blog.
