Dit boek geeft een compleet chronologisch overzicht van het werk van Jos Harzing van 1940 tot 2012, met updates voor de hardcover editie. Tussen de foto’s door verschijnen er ook kleine verhaaltjes van Cootje, de kinderen, schoonkinderen en kleinkinderen. Voor de kinderen en kleinkinderen zijn deze verhaaltjes opgenomen in het jaar dat ze geboren zijn, voor Cootje en de schoonkinderen in het jaar dat ze voor het eerst met Jos hebben kennisgemaakt.
