Join us at Middlesex - recruiting 4 new colleagues!
Announces a major recruitment round for the Department of Managment, Leadership and Organization at Middlesex University
As my regular blog readers know, I have been working at Middlesex University since July 2014. Middlesex was ranked the best modern university in London for research power in the 2014 REF; we are expecting to further improve this ranking in the 2021 REF. Recently, Middlesex became one of the top-ranked UK universities in the THE Young Universities ranking and it has been rising in all other international research rankings too.
At Middlesex University Business School, I have a dedicated role in research mentoring and improving the research profile of the entire School by stimulating research and research output. This is realised by one-on-one support, monthly research lunches and social media clinics, informal paper development groups, a yearly writing bootcamp and regular publishing and research skills seminars such as publishing pedagogical research, networking and external engagement, and doing qualitative research with(out) Nvivo. A partial write-up of all our activities, as well as guest blogposts by some of my Middlesex colleagues can be found here. A 7-minute YouTube video presentation of our - now virtual - research support can be found here.
We are now looking to build on these successes by making new appointments in a several areas. If you would like to be part of a thriving, collaborative, and supportive research community and meet the criteria below, we would love to receive your application. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
