ERROR_SAVEQUERIES3
Error message
Error <code> while finalizing your queries: <message> Please consult the Help file.
Indicates that some kind of error occurred while the new queries file was being finalized at the end of the session. The reason for this problem should be given in the second line of the message; you should try to resolve this problem before starting the next Publish or Perish session.
Click OK to dismiss the message and end the session.
At this point, both your original (pre-session) queries and your new queries are present on disk:
- %APPDATA%\Publish or Perish\Queries5.cur.qml contains your new queries;
- %APPDATA%\Publish or Perish\Trash\Q5_xxxxxxxx.qml contains your pre-session queries.
The xxxxxxxx portion is an 8-digit serial code consisting of the digits 0-9 and the letters A-F. There may be several of these files. Look at their modification date to find the most recent ones, because the Windows Explorer file name sorting algorithm does not rank them in exact alphabetical order, but in a combined alphabetical/numerical order that doesn't lead to satisfactory results in this case.
Before you start the next Publish or Perish session, you must do the following:
- Rename the Queries5.cur.qml file to Queries5.qml
This might involve some troubleshooting to resolve the problem that caused this error in the first place.
