14.1.4 A somewhat higher data quality

As ISI's WoS data processing contains manual checks, the data quality is generally higher than can be offered by Google Scholar's automatic parsing. In particular, ISI generates far fewer nonsensical results. However, its number of stray citations is even more problematic than Google Scholar (see Section 14.2.3). Many of these stray citations seem to be created by human intervention, i.e. data entry typists making typing errors.
