Ingredients (serves 8-12)

200 g glutinous rice powder
hot water
variety of canned fruits in syrup, e.g. cherries, lychees, mandarins.

Preparation

Mix the rice powder with the hot water until a thick smooth mixture results.
Roll small balls (app. 1 cm, 1/2 in diameter) from the mixture — this should give you lots of them!
Mix the fruits and their syrup in a pan, bring to boil, then turn off the fire. Add the rice powder balls and serve in a suitable bowl.
