Ingredients (serves 4)

Preparation

  1. Chop the bacon slices, then fry until crispy and golden (if you start slowly in a non-stick frying pan, you won't need oil or butter).
  2. Removes stems and seeds from the peppers, cut in long narrow strips, then add to the bacon.
  3. Add the broth and stew for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse the beans, then add to the soup and reheat.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with a few spoonfuls of soup until a smooth mixture results. Stir into the soup, then serve.
