Carys Chan

Xi Wen (Carys) Chan is a Lecturer in Organisational Psychology at the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, and an academic staff member of Griffith University's Centre for Work, Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW). She conducts research on the work–life interface, flexible/remote working, self-efficacy, work-related stress and burnout, and leader–subordinate interactions. Her work has been published in leading organisational behaviour and human resources (OB/HR) journals such as the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Stess and Health, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Research, and Personnel Review. She is also a regular employment relations and work–life contributor to media outlets such as BBC Worklife, ABC Australia, Sydney Morning Herald, The Conversation, Channel NewsAsia, and HR Daily.
